Which Package Should I Choose?
Of course, we recommend unlimited high-speed internet and phone for $79.99 if it's available to you, however our standard package at $69.99 a month is only different because of the available download speed. If you're someone who doesn't download, watch videos or spend a lot of time on the internet than the standard package will work for you, but at the end of the day everyone deserves the fastest internet possible.
If you don't need a landline, you can get unlimited internet for $54.99, and that's with no added fees or contracts.

What's The Difference Between Your Basic, Standard and Premium Packages?
The only difference is the download speed.
Why the Install Fees?
Unlike most of our competitors, we tell you what it's going to cost you upfront. These charges are used to cover your installation, equipment and set-up. Often, when installation fees are waived, that means you're paying for it somewhere else – we want our customers to know exactly what they're spending. Instead of adding extra costs down the line (making you buy your modem, unreasonable taxes etc), we make the first payment the largest so from that point on you don't have to worry about any lingering expenses.
If you compare prices to other companies, others are charging similar rates for our speeds and unlimited usage, they're just not advertising that way. Often, they promote a small price, but that's for a very limited amount of speed or usage. If the first bill arrives and it's a surprising amount, then something's wrong.
Are there any additional fees?
Your first month consists of your one-time install fee, and your first full month. If you decide to keep your existing number, there is a one-time fee of $25. We can sign you up on any day but your billing date is always the first of the month. That means if you sign up in the middle of the month your second bill will be pro-rated to discount the number of days you weren't using the service.
Are you a Wireless Carrier?
Our modems have wireless capabilities within the home (you won't have to connect a cable to get internet), but we don't get our signal from wireless signals. We value the speed and reliability of DSL and fiber optic networks, and so do most businesses across Canada. As we move to residential services we want to do everything we can to bring that same reliable speed to the household, and that speed just can't be compared to wireless, 3G or LTE. Our fiber optic network isn't affected by a rainy day or how many people are using the internet.
Why Don't You Offer Mobile or Television Services?
At this time, Kontego focuses its energy on using the fastest connection and phone.
How Could a Landline Help my Home?
Landlines bring a household together. One of the best things about our phone plan is it offers unlimited calling across North America. So when calling in Canada and the United States, there are no long distance charges. When calling overseas, the charges are much smaller than when using a mobile device. We can also configure your phone to any area code, so that relatives in other parts of the country can contact you without added fees - it's a win-win!
Where Should I Go If I Have a Problem?
